FORT WORTH, Texas – July 18, 2012–– Southwest Bank has opened a new Fort Worth-area banking center in the Midtown Urban Village development at the corner of West Rosedale Street and Forest Park Boulevard. Lori Baldock has been named president of the location, which opened to customers last week.
Operating as a full-service banking center, the Midtown location brings added convenience and amenities to customers in this quickly growing area—including drive-up banking and an ATM. The new 4,000 square foot building sits just off of West Rosedale Street, providing easy access to customers in the Fort Worth medical district and the Near Southside neighborhood.
"Southwest Bank has always called North Texas home, so our team is pleased to expand again in Fort Worth—this time into the medical district," said Vernon Bryant, Southwest Bank’s chairman and CEO. "We have no doubt that our team will do a great job serving the neighborhood, and look forward to participating in the growth of the entire midtown area."
Baldock, who has more than 23 years of banking experience, joined Southwest Bank in 2011 as senior vice president at the bank’s Arlington Matlock banking center. She is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and Southern Methodist University’s Intermediate Banking School.
