Perform intermediate duties and support related to branch operational activities and financial services; processes new account transactions; assisting customers in their selection of various accounts and financial services; cross-selling the Bank's products and services; opening, maintaining and closing of all account types; performing branch clerical duties; promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services. Perform initial processing of credit loan applications. Teller transactions including bond transactions, cash advances, the purchase of monetary instruments.
Education Requirement: Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Requirement: 1-2 years banking experience required, which must include experience in both teller and new accounts. Knowledgeable and skilled in the areas of new accounts, teller, and vault, safe deposit, processing, discussing and accepting credit applications.
Skill Requirement: A sales and service-oriented personality, outgoing and professional demeanor required. Must have good verbal and written communication skills to provide quality customer service. Requires medium proficiency with Word and Excel. Mental concentration is required to perform concurrent tasks and meet deadlines while tolerating frequent interruptions. Must exhibit a high level of integrity and exercise good judgment.
Able to work the following schedule:
- Monday – Friday: As early as 7:15 am, as late as 6:15 pm
- Saturdays as needed: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
