Southwest Bank Announces New Hires To Support Northeast Tarrant Customers

FORT WORTH, Texas – August 28, 2012 – Southwest Bank announced today the hiring of Brenda Stuckert and Sulema Appelt, who will work together to serve the bank’s Northeast Tarrant County customers. Stuckert will serve as a banking center president, and Appelt has been hired as senior vice president – commercial lender.

Stuckert brings nearly 20 years of banking experience to her new position at Southwest Bank, after having previously served as area president over the Colleyville and Grapevine locations of NorthStar Bank of Texas. A graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, Stuckert obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1993. She is active in the Tarrant County community, serving on the Board of Directors for organizations such as Grapevine Relief And Community Exchange (GRACE), and the Grapevine/Colleyville Independent School District (GCISD) Education Foundation.

Appelt was previously senior vice president – commercial lender at NorthStar Bank of Texas’ Colleyville location, and has also served as a financial specialist leader at Wachovia, now Wells Fargo, in Dallas. She brings more than 17 years of banking experience to her new position. Active in several community organizations, Appelt is a member of the Colleyville Women's Club and also serves on the Board of Directors of the GCISD Education Foundation.
