Terry Smith Joins Southwest Bank As President Of The Dallas Market Regional Banking Center

FORT WORTH, Texas – August 2, 2013 – Terry Smith has joined Southwest Bank as Dallas market president for the regional banking center at Prestonwood Tower in Dallas.

Smith brings more than 25 years of corporate and community banking experience to his new role. He previously served as the regional president for Southwest Securities, FSB, and has also worked for MBank Dallas, First State Bank of Texas, Frost Bank and Highlands Bank of Dallas (of which he was co-founder). Smith is a member of the Dallas chapter of the Risk Management Association and the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as a board member of Dallas Summer Musicals.

Smith earned his bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from Texas A&M University and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
